Cliche of cliches...

I ordered my mom flowers for mother's day. Not just flowers though, I got her a pretty planter full of Lily of the Valley. They smell good and I think they will grow in the garden out there...I hope so anyway. There was a gardenia plant, but it won't grow outside there. It is too cold.


All I have to say is holy cripes flowers/plants are freakin' expensive these days. At least when it comes to having them delivered. 

*sigh* Ah well, she is worth it. My mom rocks!

LOL... I threatened my mom with delivered flowers if she didnt figure out what she wants for moms day. Ironically, she decided she wanted some bulbs!!!

Haha! I love it! My problem is that a) cut flowers simply fade too fast and b) my mom's cats will eat them and get sick. (One of them almost died about a year ad a half ago from munching on some greens that were in an arrangement.) So, I figure this way she can keep these outside and replant them where she can continue to enjoy them without endangering her furry friends.

That, and I ran out of time to get anything else shipped to her before Sunday.
